This session focuses on hands-on techniques introducing alternative fulcrum positioning. Participants will also fine tune periodontal instrumentation techniques with demonstration and guidance from Dr Debevc on various operator and fulcrum positioning. Participants will utilize advanced fulcrum techniques and a variety of periodontal instruments to improve their instrumentation skills. A short portion of the evening will highlight recent changes from the 2017 World Workshop on the Classification of Periodontal and Peri-Implant Diseases and Conditions.
DR. TERESA DEBEVIC, DDS, Certified Periodontist
Dr. Debevc is a graduate of University of Western Ontario in London. Following a General Practice Residency at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, she practiced general dentistry for 2 years in the Toronto area. She graduated from graduate Periodontics at the University of British Columbia in 1995. Since then she has maintained a private practice in Periodontics in the Edmonton Area. She currently works part time in Private Practice in Beaumont, Alberta. She is a part-time clinical instructor
and lecturer at the University of Alberta in the Faculty of Dentistry.
