COURSE INFORMATION:

INFECTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

This program is designed to provide an update on the latest in infection prevention products and protocols for dentistry. Topics include provincal IPC standards; recommendations for ADA&C Compliance; hand  hygiene; cleaning, disinfecting and sterilization of instruments; and safety protocols for protecting patients and dental health care providers.

PRESENTER:
RONNA RICHARDSON-LOZANO  
RN, BN Ronna Gradutaed from NAIT Dental Assisting and from Grant MacEwan University and Athabasca University with a Bachelor of Nursing.  Her specific skill set blends the disciplines of Dentistry, Surgery and Infection Prevention & Control.  Ronna is currently the Clinical Lead for IP&C and the supervisor of the Oral Surgery Clinic at the University of Alberta School of Dentistry.
